Dear friends of the World30,
We are ready for you!

We are excited to welcome you for the first World Meeting in our beautiful city of Salzburg.
We expect you on May 26th-29th to celebrate a long-awaited reunion.

We have prepared a program to make the most of your stay in the heart of the city.
The Hotel Imlauer will be our base for the weekend.

How to get there
You can fly to Salzburg (SZG), the airport is rather small but close to the center, so it’s easy to jump on the bus and be in 20 minutes in front of your hotel. There might be easier (direct) options to fly to Munich or Vienna, where you can catch a train to Salzburg
(2h15 from Munich, 3h from Vienna).

From Munich, you can buy a train ticket called Bayern Ticket (Salzburg is included even though it is in Austria) for up to 5 people – the more you are, the cheaper it gets. For example, for 5 people the group price is 57€ (11,4€/person).

From Vienna you have 2 train companies to choose from.
OEBB: Direct ride from Vienna Airport to Salzburg main station. Standard ticket costs around 60€ but when booking early you can find tickets starting at 20€/person. https://tickets.oebb.at/en/ticket/

Westbahn: Starting from the Westbahnhof Station of Vienna to Salzburg main station, standart ticket costs 33,5€, with some online discount available when booking early. https://westbahn.at/en/

Pretour
We would love to you show you more of Austria if you have time before the weekend!
Depending on the amount of participants, we can adapt the program according to the group size and wish.
The current plan is to start in Vienna on Monday, May 23rd, follow the Danube through the Wachau wine region, cruise around the Salzkammergut lake region, climb mountains and glaciers, and arrive in Salzburg for the welcome party on Thursday, May 26th.

10:00 Womens tour with the girls from the Ladies circle (also for non Deligates, Meeting point in front of the congress center)
10:30 General Meeting at Hotel Imlauer

Hotel Prices & Special Conditions

We have negotiated a price with our HQ for the weekend, the Hotel Imlauer.
They have 2 different offers, the Imlauer Hotel Pitter (4*s) or Hotel Imlauer & Braü (4*).
Both are very central and next to each other. Breakfast is included.
As Salzburg is rather expensive at this time of the year, we recommend checking AirBnb for other options. We stay available for any questions you might have while looking for or booking an accommodation.
