Visit to the EB house of the DEBRA Austria butterfly children
The RT30 zu Salzburg has been supporting DEBRA Austria for years as part of an ongoing project in its important work in the research and treatment of the incurable disease epidermolysis bullosa, the so-called “butterfly disease”.
Round Table 30 – Salzburg supports the new middle school in St. Gilgen
Round Table 30 – Salzburg supports the Neue Mittelschule St. Gilgen to enable children whose families have financial difficulties to participate in school events (ski course, Vienna week, …) with an additional payment.
Round Table 30 helps quickly and unbureaucratically
We, the Round Table 30 Salzburg, supported a Salzburg family by purchasing a new refrigerator.
Salzburg Christmas Market
As part of a joint project with Rotary, Rotaract and Innerwheel, we ran a mulled wine stall at the Salzburg Christmas market. Over the 13 days, proceeds of € 9,000 were raised for the “Against Poverty in Salzburg” project.
FEURO – simply donate safely
Round Table 30 has supported and been on board with the simplest and most innovative way to make uncomplicated donations in Austria since FEURO was founded.
FEURO e-donation offers the opportunity to donate to three of Austria’s most important aid organizations – the Red Cross, Licht ins Dunkel and Caritas – in 3,000 tobacconists throughout Austria. Donors receive a receipt. The donations go 100% to the selected organization without any deductions. Disclosure of personal data is only necessary for tax purposes!
Excursion with refugee children
Round Table 30 Salzburg and Ms. Lydia Wimmer made it possible for 6 children between the ages of 6 and 15 from the refugee house in Puch to go on an excursion to Hellbrunn.
Large donation to the butterfly children
Johann Teuschl and Herbert Groß from Burger King at Salzburg train station and Klaus Satra from Burger King Airportcenter have been supporting the work of Round Table 30 (www.rt30.at) in aid of the butterfly children by setting up donation boxes for several years now. Once again, € 5,000 was collected, which was generously doubled by Round Table 45 Airport (www.rt45.at) on the occasion of the International Round Table Day on March 14.
RT30 visit to RT30 Netherlands
At the end of February, a strong team of 7 of us traveled to Holland for the 65th anniversary celebrations of RT30 Kampen.
Review of the Salzburg Hunting Days 2015 – St. Gilgen / Wolfgangsee
The Salzburg Hunting Days were held for the twelfth time in picturesque St. Gilgen on Lake Wolfgang in November 2015! A colorful mix not only of social activities, games and culinary delights, but also of participants made these hunting days a special and unforgettable weekend in an old-world location surrounded by the most beautiful nature in Austria.
Round Table visits Schlarrafia Juvavia
In April 2015, a delegation from Round Table 30 was invited to Schlaraffia Juvavia in Schwarzstrasse by one of its “oldies”, Peter Walker. We had a lot of fun at the “Sippung” and spent an entertaining evening.
Round Table & Rotary support people at risk of poverty
Round Table 30 & Rotary Club Salzburg Altstadt supports people at risk of poverty with 15,000 euros
Salzburg, 10.4.2015 – Every year, the Rotary Club Salzburg Altstadt, together with other Rotary Clubs and Round Table 30, successfully runs a mulled wine stall on the Alter Markt to benefit social projects. With the proceeds from last winter 2014/15 totaling 15,000 euros
Central Alps Meeting in Saalbach-Hinterglemm
The Central Alps Meeting organized by RT 30 took place in Saalbach-Hinterglemm on 20.3.2015. A Fun & Fellowship event was also organized around this date.
Helping Hands for Heilstättenschule Salzburg
Great commitment from the company ETM Bau from Uttendorf in Pinzgau: it supports the work of the Round Table 30 campaign “Helping Hands” and donates a new computer to the Heilstättenschule Salzburg, which is urgently needed for school work.
